In September 201o Angela received more accolades for her short but punchy play, Survival Instincts, this time from the Canberra Short and Sweet Theatre Festival.
Survival Instincts has resonated with audiences around Australia. It was a finalist in the Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra Short and Sweet Festivals, winning Best Actress (Brisbane Powerhouse, 2009 & Canberra Theatre Centre 2010), runner-up Best Actor, nominated Best Play of the Festival (Brisbane), 1st place People’s Choice Awards, 3rd place Judges’ Choice Awards (Week Three, Seymour Centre, Sydney, 2009) and 3rd place Best Script and Best Overall Production (Canberra, 2010).
